Hey guys,

I apologize for being a pain about this, but so far everything I search hasn't helped me (Maybe it's because I don't know what to search):

https://copy.com/yhWgRc8ydlGxuGMu/DB_01.png

https://copy.com/HwLJuWoFVGlh4rGU/DBZ_01.png

As you can see the image is grainy and I want to know what can I do to try and improve the quality. I tried using this code:

deen()
deen()
deblock()
santiag()
MergeChroma(awarpsharp2(depth=15))
LimitedSharpenFaster(ss_x=1.5, ss_y=1.5, dest_x=768, dest_y=576, strength=150, overshoot=0, undershoot=0, soft=0, edgemode=0)

But it seems to have made the image look even worse. Deen didn't really help get rid of the noise. I'm really stuck here.

Here are some samples:
Dragon Ball sample (https://copy.com/jF0OOMEJFRpRWwpd/DBZ_Clip.vob?download=1)
Dragon Ball Z sample (https://copy.com/hCTqtE9ELV06XYkm/DB_Clip.vob?download=1)

I also want to know if I can color correct the footage like how this person did:
Dragon Ball color correction (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlCeU8n_Puw)
Dragon Ball Z color correction (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RpMnvxSfYI)

Please tell us about your source material. Where did it come from?

I'm using Dvd singles from Japan, here's what they look like:

Post VOB fragments if you want proper help. Cut the VOBs with DGSplit.

Never ever are these authentic samples.

First, the aspect ratio of the encoded picture is off, it's just a 640x480 1:1 video padded to 720x480. In addition the MPEG DAR flag says "1:1" which is illegal for DVD. Then, the average bitrate is >10000 Kbit/s which is illegal for DVD as well. Also, there are no B-frames which is extremely uncommon...

It's also missing audio!
