Hi all.
I have many many time (as a newbie) encoded a SVCD which was "choppy". With the help of those forums, I was able to understand why. Most of the time, it was because the parameters in the CCE tab of DVD2SVCD where not properly set (Upper field first, progressive frames, ...) compared to the MPEG2 source stream.
"BitRate viewer" (a free tool in his basic version) allows to retrieve the informations from the mpeg2 stream.

Is there anyway that we can have a 'suggest' button that can do the same kind of analysis than bitrate viewer and fill the fields properly? I think that this will avoid many user-errors. Plus, this will stick fully with the 'all-in-one' philosophy of DVD2SVCD.
I know, I'm lazy :cool: , but the point is that there is a lot of questions about this in the forums.
