Hi, I also have an ati tv wonder pro pci-doesn't have hardware mpeg encoder, and i was wondering how to build a preview/capture graph using ffdshow. I'm using graphstudionext 32bit and windows 7 x64. I would like to view picture/hear audio and capture video/audio using ffdshow for video and whatever else for audio. I am using the composite input by the way.

You can take a look at the pictures of the graphs on this page for inspiration: http://www.roelofs-coaching.nl/video/trainingsvideos-met-eigen-commentaar
You can mux, save and duplicate and preview with some fiddling. You can also encode if you want. A lot is possible through ffdshow.
You might have to select the clock for the audio to make it work.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I've looked at the graphs, and noticed the dv splitter filter. What filter/splitter should i use for analog video, since my card is analog video capture so i can split the video/audio?

I don't know. What does "render pin" give?

Just try a few and persevere. I would try LAV-splitter first.

And by the way. When your video is captured it's no longer analog. In what format does your card capture?

I believe the TV wonder pro captures in uncompressed YUY2.
