What components comprise the best DVD authoring & analog video conversion system for approximately $2,000 U.S.
I am looking to convert my home (s)VHS videos and put them onto DVD (I have over 50 videos to do). As well, my friend wants me to author DVD's from his Digital camcorder.
I don't want to mortgage my house for a system but I don't have the time either so speed will be of concern. I can probably go up to $2,500. If anyone has experience speccing out components or has recently built an optimal system at this price range, I will appreciate it greatly. Thank you.
