auto gk stopped working...getting message box

My Auto GK was working great and then, suddenly I started getting this message box:
"VirtualDub Failure
avisynth open failure
Evaluate:System exception-access violation
(C:\Users\Cindy\Desktop\Castle\AGK_Tmp\Castle 2x06 Vampire Weekend_comptest.avs,line 5)"
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix the problem?
I love this program and use it all the time.

Try shutting down and then cold-reboot your system...

How do you cold-boot your computer.
I did re install and restart the computer.
Can you explain what you mean?
