Hi there,
I'm having a problem with MPC-HC, and it seems to have started suddenly. Everything was fine earlier today, and I'm 99% certain I haven't changed any settings since then.
Basically, when I play most movies, whether mkv, mp4, or avi, there's no sound being played. However, if I check the Windows mixer, I can see the little green indicator for both MPC-HC and the speakers moving, which shows that sound is being output somewhere. If I plug in my headphones to the front panel, the sound works perfectly, only to disappear once I unplug them again.
This doesn't happen with all movies, certain mkvs work fine through my speakers, it's just the majority which don't for some reason.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.
EDIT: it seems that the majority of mkvs work fine, it's just one or two that don't
