i'm currently changing from divx-sbc-encoding to svcd-creation, coz i finally got a dvd-player in december...
steps
dvd2avi
creating an frameserve-avi with vfapi reader 1.04 from the .d2v
creating an avs with the frameserve-avi as source
creating an frameserve-avi with the vfapi reader 1.03b from the .avs, coz i'm using cce 1.62 and have read thats the way to do it...
source: mb1's svcd-guide (http://www.mb1.de.vu) (german) video method 3...
it says (translated):
-------
who wants to work with the CinemaCraft 2.62 SP (no checksum error, better quality) has to transform the avs-file with the old vfapi-reader 1.03b (the 1.04 can't open .avs) in one further pseudo-avi.
-------
i don't stand the logic of this, but what do _i_ know!?
but lets go on...loaded the second frameserve-avi (that from 1.03) into cce 1.62, set the bitrate etc., then encoded...but when i opened the mpv, all were just black :(
what could have caused that?
any ideas?
in hope on help

the .avs:
AviSource("e:/eld/eld.cd1.104.avi")
BilinearResize(448,542)
AddBorders(16,17,16,17)
