Just went to put my browser back to Internet Explorer on default programs, IE is nowhere to be found on my default
program, am using Win8. Help!

You could try restoring your PC to a date before the problem occurred. If that option does not work for you, you can always undo the change and lose nothing but a few minutes of time.
