Hi everyone.
I'm new here and rather new to usage of avisynth. As for now, the biggest problem for me is to recognize the types of artifacts in video. Here you've got the screens of one of the vids I'd like to work on. Can anyone make any suggestion on what are the things to fix here and eventually suggest the plugins or scripts to use to get rid of it? :)

Any help would be much appreciated! :)
Cheers!

I agree, the problem is 'low quality' itself.
At least these still captures don't convey much more information.
Anyway, what's the point of fixing problems that you don't recognize?
Also, once you learn how to recognize them, you won't be able to enjoy low quality video anymore.

It is not ;) at least if you consider this video as a YT rip. It's a VHS copy of master tape and it's a vob file.

I know the quality is not great but still worth working on. It's not that difficult to understand. I'm not new to editing videos. I've been doing that since 2 years but it's time to go on higher level. Till now, I've been using vdub with its plugins and Vegas for final color corrections. Now, I'd like to be able to get rid of more complicated artifacts like halos. And that's why I'm asking for help :)
I do enjoy the LQ videos cuz in fact, this above is one of the better quality of Michael Jackson's videos which I'm working on.
So is there any chance you guys will help me? :)

It's well known copy that has been done by one of MJ Japanese fans. It's been circulating in the net for a long time now. Also it's available on DVD on eBay.

I asked where you got it and you evade answering. Thread closed.
