When can we expect the next version of gknot?

And while i remmember, i was thinking that when you check ivtc perhaps you should then get an option which one to use (greedyhma, decomb etc.) and if you pick one like say decomb, it will also have a field where you can change the default values of it's parameters.

Having the Decomb filter would be a sterling addition to an already sterling app tho.. :)

Beta testing? Hmmm, I would hazard a guess of no... as all the Gknots are betas ;)

True true, ahwell i'll just hope it's soon then there's a bug that's holding up my encoding and i'm to lazy to go back to nandub.

I too would like support for decomb.dll.

Lately I have been using it for IVTC instead of DVD2AVI's Force Film option as I think it gives better results, not to mention it decombs progressive frames on some crappy DVD sources.

Though I can't use Gordian Knot with it because of the crash bug when you check "IVTC in AVS", so I am really looking forward to a new version of GKnot.

Great work as always, TheWEF. :)

i just started to code XviD support and decided to make some fundemental changes in the encoder section.
as i'm really busy atm it might take a while...
i have time this weekend, but i don't think i can get a working release out soon.
i expect to have much more time in march (and i hope it's true this time).
there is much to do. blacksun sent me (fine) code for avi-support and i want to integrate that, dvd2svcd offered help for ripping.
besweet, decomb, file-splitting,...
there is so much on my todo-list and it's growing faster than i like it to!
sorry guys, it's done when it's done.

can you add a space check before a job starts running?

i selected a destination for my job, but had to restart the computer, then i reloaded gknot and forgot to change the destination for the second pass avi file, so it just encoded only half of the movie and i had to redo the 2nd pass, with a space check it had asked me for an other destination

maybe you can add that into the next release

but this program only rocks, thx for that nice thingy :D
