Hi,
I play some mp4 video via http. Am I missing something or MPC-HC cannot seek like most other players?
The video starts fine, and I can see it saying "buffering x%", but it seems like it attempts to buffer the entire video ...
The same mp4 file and URL via Windows Media Player for buffering happens only for a few seconds and seeking is possible beyond the buffered duration; it just rebuffers, and starts playing from the seek'ed location. Similarly with VLC.
I tried both 1.6.8 (before the switch to LAV) and 1.7.0 (with LAV).
Is there a way I can make it buffer only a finite amount of time and enable seeking as in WMP or VLC?
