i have install TMT6 and copy the .dll and my checkactivate.dll of my 1.1.0.8 pack and eac3to -test said : Arcsoft DTS Decoder 1.1.0.9 works fine
the best is i reinstall 1.1.0.8 ? or i can use 1.1.0.9 without decoding problems ?
i have 2 magcore.dll in installation folder TMT6 i use the magcore in codec folder? or the other in tmt6 root folder ?
(C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcSoft\TotalMedia Theatre 6)
And for video decoders i use FFDShow + Haali Media Splitter and it's good ? or TMT6 video decoders

eac3to doesn't use video decoders. If you intend to use video decoders for other purposes then you should ask in appropriate thread.

This thread is really getting polluted with stuff that should be in some computer noob section.
I second that. Could any moderator be so kind and move all previous posts about "how to run eac3to" into separate thread? :thanks:

Of course you can. There is no reason why it should not be possible. This is recommended anyway, to preserve your valuable SSD.

Windows and programs should not be on the same disk as the data to be processed, to avoid data corruption destroying both programs and data, in case of an accident.

My downloads (Mozilla..) are in the OS Partition (on my other PC) it's not a problem ? because i have some files downloaded (with Mozilla..) in my "Downloads" folder, and i replace and rename it in the desktop :/
So i can rip my DVDs/BDs with AnyDVD in OS Partition, and extract (rip) to my 2nd partition ?

As LigH had said: Windows and programs should not be on the same disk as the data to be processed, to avoid data corruption destroying both programs and data, in case of an accident.
If you have a disk failure, no matter what you have your information on another partition, you will lose your data. Is necesary use other Disk (physical).

In other words, having Windows and programs on the SSD (one device), and having the video on a HDD (another device), is recommendable.
Due to the long-lasting reading and writing access during the video processing, it is not recommendable to do that on an SSD; it should be spared from frequent writing access to avoid an early loss of memory cells.

Okay thank you :)
But i want mean, If i download Flacs on music me for exemple.. (I download with another PC without SSD.
Itīs not a problem If i download on system partition?
And for listen music itīs not a problčm? Or if i download and listen on system data be corrupted?
And extract DVDs/BDs to my 2nd HDD is a good idea? No problčme for data ? I want 1:1 copy^^

If i use MPC-HC x32 i need use ffdshow x32 ? And for EAC too?
LigH

Uuuhm, more or less ... yes. 32-bit applications need 32-bit libraries.
But MPC-HC doesn't need ffdshow. It comes with an own copy of the much further developed LAV filters; ffdshow is now partially obsolete (except for its VfW codec support).
Furthermore, "EAC" = "Exact Audio Copy" (a pedantic Audio CD grabber). No need to abbreviate eac3to even more.

I have extract AC3 with MKVCleaver (i don't know if this program is good) ? i want synchro with an movie how i can ? i have audio of movie but another langage, i want convert in WAV for open with Sony Vegas but eac3to convert to wav with 6mbps..

MKVcleaver belongs to the current GUIs for mkvextract recommended by the mkvtoolnix installer.
Depending on your Sony Vegas license details, it should have an AC3 decoder as well, so you probably don't have to decode it (and possibly even an AC3 encoder, based on Sonic Foundry SoftEncode).
But if you need to decode, and can't handle a multi-channel WAV, try to decode it to *.wavs – this way, eac3to will create (up to) six mono WAV files, each for one channel.

If i change .ac3 extension with rename .wav this modify quality/file? or it's good?
LigH

If you decode to WAV, then you will lose some quality while re-encoding to a new AC3.
You will always lose some quality while encoding to any lossy format.
If you are able to recognize the loss, is another matter.

If i change .ac3 extension with rename .wav this modify quality/file? or it's good? Just changing the extension does nothing to the file. Don't think you can convert AC3 to WAV just by changing the filename!

Does this WAV file exceed 4 GB? The Microsoft WAV header doesn't support that, chunks have only 32 bit size values.
There are alternatives:
a) There is a W64 format with bigger chunk sizes, but not all tools support that.
b) There is the extension .wavs which makes eac3to write one mono WAV file per audio channel (e.g. 6 WAVs if it was a 6 channel audio), but just as well, not all tools know how to handle them as a unity.

Hello, i have one Full BluRay with a video in 1080i
Like this : MPEG-4 AVC Video XXXXX kbps 1080i / 25 fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1
For demux i use command like 1080P ? Like this : eac3to 1) 2: xxx.mkv ????? Thank's
Why should there be any different handling of audio streams, whether the video stream is encoded with or without interlacing? Video and audio can be separated by demultiplexing without the need to handle interlaced and progressive video differently because the container (here: M2TS) is always the same.
And why MKV? A Blu-ray movie is mainly a sequence of M2TS segments ordered by a playlist file.
