Hi,I am having a slight problem with the picture freezing for a second every now and again on play back and was wondering if anybody could guide me in the right direction to rectify the problem.I have a p4 1.8ghz processor,512ram and ricoh combi burner/dvd rom and am burning with nero 5.5.7.2 here is a copy of my log.Many thanks in advance

Hi greg19,

the log seems just to be fine. ;)

But what you did not mention - is the playback jerky on your standalone or on your PC?

If it's the standalone then have a look at this thread and see if this problem applies to you too:

Hi thanks for your reply,the problem is mainly on my standalone but is still noticable on the pc.I looked at the thread you suggested and tried the bitrate settings you suggested 2450-300-2250 opposed to the settings I was using 2350-300-2230 but the result seemed worse.So I think you must have put me on the right track what I am now wondering is are the settings an exact science i.e if the max figure is say 2450 does the max average have to be 2250 or could you just alter one of these figures thanks for your time
