what program do i use to calculate the bitrate for rempeg.

Just add all the VOB files together you plan to transcode (i.e. 5.47 Gb) and then:

4.3 G / (i.e. 5.47 G) X 100 = 78.6

But to be sure I subtract 3 percent more:

4.3 G / (i.e. 5.47G) X 100 - 3 = 75.6 or 76%

This works everytime and I never have files add up to more than 4.38 G which will fit perfectly on a DVD-R.

i am go with this guide where u only rempeg the first vob. how would i calculate it then.
