i used the following settings for a movie:
Anti Noise Filter: 2
Passes: 5
Image Quality: 17
VAF file creation: On
Video Encoding Mode: Multipass VBR
Min. bitrate: 1000
Max. bitrate: 2450
Min. Avg. rate: 2050
Avg. Bitrate: 2315
Audio rate: 224

I got the following error:
Cce encoding failed: Error: Video check-sum is different from that of previous pass. Source video data or time code may be different. Please check videotape or information file.

----information----
current: check sum=011cf33d
previous: check sum=011cf33b

is this a bitrate conflict? i set the max average at least 120 less, Anyway whats the highest/best combination that has worked for you ppl? i have a Pioneer DV-434

thanks for the help,

I used mostly the following
settings for a 3 CDs movie:

Anti Noise Filter: 2
Image Quality: 17
Passes: 4
VAF file creation: On
Video Encoding Mode: Multipass VBR
Min. bitrate: 0
Max. bitrate: 2499
Min. Avg. rate: 1800
Avg. Bitrate: 2300
Audio rate: 224

But I think it's not from CCE your troubles...
Seems to be a corrupted source.

Hope that's will help you.

If you get that error most of the time you need the CRC patch. You can find it in the Q + A.
