Can not play divx3 files on virtualdub

I installed ffdshow vfw interface along with everything else on the pack, I can play divx5 and xvid files but can't play a divx3 file I got... a friend I have can play it on his computer, I am guessing the vfw codec from ffdshow is not compatible with my cpu, please aid me the error message is on the attachment. I still would like to use virtualdub I don't want to change.

You should maybe activate the last line in this codecs list, raw video, and choose YV12.

Masked one, try the ffinputdriver for Virtualdub.

I did a lot of encodes in those years.

And still the detect motion feature of nandub(not high rate but true high motion)
is missing today.
