Hi all.
Please help if you can cause I am kinda lost through these settings!
I have CCE SP3 and I want to encode a 720x576 25p file.
Can you please tell me what kind of settings I have to use for progressive source?
I have tried different settings but the result is bad, especially in thin lines where there is a "ladder" effect.
Thanks!

A little forum search would have helped. ;)
See here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1587773#post1587773).
Also, not mentioned in the post I just linked to, set "Block scan order" in "Picture" to "Zig Zag".

Thanks! (Again!)
One last. the (a)output field first check box and the (b)Offset line,
should be (a)checked, (b)0?

a) "Output top field first" should be unchecked.
b) "Offset line" should be zero (0).

OK, with the help of TheSkiller and Restreamer I finally got it.
I opened the file from ReStreamer and it showed in Horizontal Lines 540 instead of 720, since its PAL.
Don't know why CCE encoded it like that, all the settings were to PAL, but since I changed that it is looking great!
One last question, CCE encodes PAL by default at N12 and M3 Gop's.
I have seen that TotalCode encodes at 12 and 2 by default.
Excuse my ignorance, but which one is for better quality? Shouldn't 12 and 2 be better?
Thanks!
