Hi,

I have the german Avengers BD which is censored.
Now I want to replace the videostream with the uncensored one and keep the complete Blu-Ray intact.
Both videostreams are the exact length, but the encoding is a bit different. The uncensored version is a bit smaller in size.

What I did:

1. Remuxed the m2ts with the the uncensored videostream keeping all the audio and subtitles from the german version with tsMuxeR.

2. replaced the original m2ts on the BD with the remuxed one.

3. Opened the BD in BDEdit to correct the packetsize on the clpi for the main movie.

4. Checked in Arcsoft Total Media Center if the BD works. (It worked)

5. Burnt it

6. Checked in my Hardware Players, and this is where the problems started.

My Sony player starts the BD and in the menu everything plays fine (extras, Trailers) except the main movie. The movie is started but the screen keeps black and the timer stays at two seconds. Skipping through the chapters does also not work. Selecting chapters from the menu results in the same as starting the movie directly.

So I tried the BD in my Samsung player and here stranger things happen. The movie itself starts, but the timer runs different. For the first chapter I see the time code for the second chapter. Skipping through chapters is possible but the player jumps always to the next after. eg. 1 -> 3 -> 5 -> 7
Also going backwards is not possible, the player always skips forward.

Could you please give me a hint where I did something wrong.

Thank you

I'd try first copying the original clpi over to the remux, and if necessary the mpls as well.

Nope. Did not work.
The disc did not even start.

You forgot to adjust the MLPS time-stamps (Using BDEdit), most commercial Blu-ray discs use 00:00:11.000, TSMuxer output always start at 00:10:00.00, thatīs the reason for the wrong time-codes on your Samsung player.

This cannot be the problem because I used the original MPLS from the Blu-Ray.
Or must I use the one from tsMuxer and edit the time-stamps?

Like I already said you just need to change the start value of the original MPLS to 00:10:00.000 (BDEdit will automatically fix the chapters timestamps if you allow it), you CAN try to replace the original MPLS files with the ones created by TSMuxer but most of the times the original MPLS includes additional information (like PiP or Menu settings) that is not present in the ones created by TSMuxer.

@Cedvano

Hi!

I thought I read that "Despicable Me 2" has an official release date (DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) of December 10th?

Perhaps your source material is not accurate/complete/valid...

I'm interested in learning how to do this too. I know how to demux and remux the relevant M2TS, but I neither understand the third step in FreaQ's procedure nor know why it's necessary.
