Question About LPCM 2

Hello Guys today i download a concert (BDsource) that has LPCM 2.0 (48 kHz / 2304 kbps / 24-bit) audio i really dont know about it to much my question is :
1.is it better than DTS ?
2.i think 5.1 Ch is better can i upmix it to 6ch ? if yes how ?
3.can i convert it to ac3 ?

sorry for my newbies question but you help me lot if you answer my question and explain more about this Format .

1) LPCM is audio uncompressed then is better than any lossy format (DTS, AC3, ...)

2) You can upmix stereo to 5.1, read Sticky: GUIDE LIST: Stereo-to-Surround Conversion Guides (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=83752), but I don't recommend that, if you have a 5.1 audio system maybe you have DSP functions to convert stereo to surround at play time.

3) Yes you can convert it to ac3, but there are better choices: FLAC for lossless conversion (you can recover the original uncompressed audio) or AAC like recommended lossy (youn can't recover the original audio exactly) format.
