I installed Avisynth 2.58.
A short script:
DirectShowSource("D:\01.avi")
VirtualDUb opens it, of course.
It should be played in a media playerf like MPC aswell, shouldn't it?
MPC tells me: The file can't be rendered.
What can I do about it?
I use win7 pro, 64bit, MPC HC 1.7.0 64bit, Avisynth 2.58, ffdshow 1.2.4422

Have you tried the 32 Bit MPC?

With MPC HC 32 bit, I get an error, at least the audio playback of the video starts.

Is your ffdshow also 32 bit? (It needs to be).
You will also have to set it to decode YV12 (under 'Raw'), or else install a suitable (32-bit) YV12 decoder.
