Hello everyone!
I was wondering if there was a way to re-encode anime to a smaller file size (80mb perhaps? / 400-500 bitrate?) without the output being pixelated?
In my output the pixelation is very noticeable specially on:
• Dark Scenes
• Raining/Foggy Scenes
• Fast motion scenes (sometimes)
• Dark colored parts

(there are much worse scenes than these)
I've seen many animes from various encoders whose outputs are not pixelated at all but just a bit of blur (not really noticeable) and the filesize is around 60-80mb!
is there a trick behind this?
I'm using MeGUI by the way and here are my encoder settings preset:
Video Encoder Settings: x264: DXVA HD-Anime_Toons HQ
Audio Encoder Settings: Nero AAC: NDAAC-HEPS-32kbps
