doom need ur help

there has been a lot of questions involving movie and menu without extras lately. to stop this, can u make a guide on how to do this. i myself would really like to know how.

hmm.. let me get this straight.. you want all the menus and the main movie?

first you do your thing with the main movie, then you delete all vts_xy_z.vob files that are not part of the main movie titleset (a titleset is a collection of vts_xy_z.vob files where xy is the same), run ifo-edit over each ifo file and you're done.

oh.. and there actually is a guide.. both the layer stripping guide and the DVD-9 -> 2x DVD-R guide can be used.. just dump the titlesets you don't need.. the techniques are exactly the same

when you say "run ifoedit over each ifo"....

what options to i choose in ifoedit?

after deleting the unnecessary vob's, do I "get vts sectors" only or do i have to recreate the ifo/bup files?

can you tell us the exact options to check under ifoedit in this particular situation?

So if the main movie and menu is Vts_08_0 - Vts_08-5 do you just delete all the others besides the Video_ts and get vts sectors, or do you have to move the 08 up to 01???

@chumboy: I mean: load every ifo in ifo-edit and press "Get VTS sectors"
@oldie: the first option is correct.. you delete every vob but vts_08_*.vob and video_ts.vob. And you keep every .ifo and bup file.

I tried this but there is not a correct file set, it wont burn using prassi. I got it all in there at it errors out before it starts. ANy other ideas. I got the three Video_ts files, all the main movie vobs and every ifo and bup. Thanks
