Just wondering how many people found it necessary to add the pan and scan info to the video when directly importing the video file into DVDMaestro without re encoding?

If I set the video to 16:9 LB/PS without the p&s info, both winDVD and PowerDVD play it fine. Of course that doesn't mean a standalone player will. Someone else is burning it for me so I can't experiment, the player is a Samsung 709. Would rather not have to set the p&s info so I don't have to change the player setup each time I play it.

Forgot to add, it's NTSC material.

I actually have 1 DVD that has the pan&scan info.. most studios don't bother with it even though I think it's a pretty neat idea and can save you quite some space (make a 16:9 DVD and all the 4:3 TV owners can get a full screen picture and when they upgrade to a 16:9 TV they get better quality and won't have to buy a special 16:9 DVD).
but.. all players play DVDs without that info just fine, but some may not work properly if you actually add it

How do you add the P&S info? I'm interested in this for experimentation reasons. I'm also using Maestro.
