View Full Version : Handbrake VS every other encoder/decoder

Apparently Handbrake wins with my current compilation. I've tried Multiavchd, Bd-Rebuilder, Nerorecode, nero video, RipBot264.

All outputs result in a highly similar audio sync issue. My guess would be the decoder used. Oddly, MPC-HC decodes it/them perfectly, with zero hiccups. So it seems to be clear, that Handbrake uses its own decoder. I believe Nero does as well, but it suffers the same problem as the other apps(FFdshow?).

Clearly I have a new toy/app in my arsenal :D I never tried ConvertX with the files, because I'm attempting to convert hundreds of MKV's (Anime) to dual layer BD/s. So, I need non corrupt files to work with. I'm hoping that Handbrake has generated agreeable files. So far the sync is fine. Which suggests a high probability of correcting the problem.

Anybody have any relevant information to share, regarding Handbrakes abilities, which may shed some light on my situation?

Collected over the span of the show airing. I realize they're not VHS tape, which is widely accepted, but I fail to see the difference.

More than anything, I'm curious as to how these apps vary. Even the use of DGDecNV had no effect. I find this most curious :)

Again, I ask, where are you getting them? "Collected them" is not an answer. Closing until I receive your explanation in PM.
