Player for compare HEVC and x264

Is there any software that supports both HEVC and x264 encoded video samples? I encoded some video samples (at same bitrates for hevc and x264, and at 2x lower bitrate for hevc, than x264). Now, I want to compare guality of some frames to comapre codecs...Downloaded some apps, but they don't support HEVC, also some specific software like Elecard HEVC player can't open .264 files.

Convert the HEVC samples to a lossless format that actually is supported, like H.264 lossless or raw yuv. Use AviSynth for a side-by-side or interleaved rgb display in your favorite avs/vfw software like VirtualDub.
