I am having a problem with the latest beta version of BDRB. The previous version 4406 worked perfectly. When I installed 4415 after deleting the older version none of my bluray movies fit to a BD-25 anymore. The rebuild process works fine, I will add an attachment. Then when I try to use IMGburn to burn a single layer disc the file is to large. That will be attachment two. When I try to burn to a dual layer disc there is too much empty space, that will be attachment three. When I ran the inspection tool everything looked ok, that will be attachment four. Lastly I am including a picture of the last job I did with bd rebuilder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What type of disc are you using? Is it possible you are adding a hidden file? According to ImgBurn it should fit.

According to ImgBurn it should fit.
I agree. The image size is 22,984,703,424 bytes, and that should fit on a normal BD-R blank disc.

@cimjd
Let BD_RB have ImgBurn create the ISO file or point ImgBurn to the parent folder, not the individual folders, BDMV and CERTIFICATE.

that shouldn't make a difference, the iso and the BDMW+CERTIFICATE folder will be the exact same size

I am using memorex recordable single layer discs. They are the same ones that worked fine with bdrb 4406. How do I let ImgBurn create the ISO file? Thanks for your help I'm a newb at this.

well memorex is a crappy blank brand but that's not the issue. ISO output = settings > output mode

Your screen-caps also show your destination as a BD-RE not BD-R. Are you sure that disc is truly blank?

BD-RE is the drive (an LG BD-RE BH08LS20). Check the "destination media", clearly states BD-R

Oops! You're quite right.

The difference is that BD_RB can pass the proper parameters to ImgBurn.
Either the settings are off, or there are hidden files present, otherwise ImgBurn is reporting an 18 GB BR-R

Proper parameter? Like what, the udf type? That has no impact on file size, even if there are extra folders unless that setting in bdrb is set to ignore all folders except bdmv and certificate it they will included in the ISO bust the same. Sizes don't magically change to fit or fit on a bd-r

This is really confusing me because in the previous build,4406, BDRB worked perfectly now in the latest version 4415 I've been experiencing this. Could it be something as simple as an installation problem? If that is not the case how do I determine if there are extra files being added that are causing the problem?

It can't be BD-RB causing this. ImgBurn is reporting that the file size is well within the limits for a normal BD-R disc (so BD_RB is working fine), but that your target disc capacity is less than 20GB. Something is either wrong with your blank discs or with how ImgBurn reads their capacity. But BD-RB would not be involved in that in any way.
On my system ImgBurn auto-detects the disc type and capacity - it always says that I have about 24GB of space available. Perhaps there is a setting in ImgBurn that overrides this auto-detect method, and it is defaulting to a lower threshold.

I am going to post shots of mt FFDshow configuration. I am not sure but I was thinking that maybe it has something to do with the video decoding settings. If anyone sees any problems with my ffdshow settings please let me know. Thanks for your help.

What does Windows Explorer report as your blanc, empty, disc size?

What does Windows Explorer report as your blanc, empty, disc size?
Exactly. After inserting a blank disc in your BD burner, open Windows Explorer and right-click on the drive-label on the left hand side. Select "Properties". It will show values for "Used space" and "Free space".
Then, start ImgBurn and click on the "Device" tab and see what it reports for "Free Space". When I put in a blank BD-R disc it says "Free Space: 25,025,314,816 bytes"

It appears you're selecting the wrong files to burn here. The second and third screen shots, the ones of the Imgburn program show different files to be written. The first Imgburn screen shot appears to show the output file of BDRB as the file to be burned on a 25 GB disc but the second Imgburn screen shot shows the original BD disc as the file to be written to disc. There seems to be confusion as to which file should be selected to write to disc. I would use the option in BDRB to write the finished file to disc automatically with Imgburn to prevent this occurrence in the future. BDRB is not the problem here, nor is Imgburn. You're not burning the correct files.

Thanks to everyone who replied to my problem. The latest build of BDRB has fixed whatever was going on. I have backed up three bluray discs to the 25gb memorex discs that I've been using. Once again thanks problem solved.
