Scenarist Designer: Any way to disable BD-J buffer checking

Another other Designer PS users here?

I author exclusively in HDMV and one of my clients has a menu design that has a lot of gradients on the Interactive Graphics layer. That frequently causes the "line is too big" problem so I need to check with the buffer checker before exporting.

I see that it takes almost no time at all to complete this check for HDMV, but Designer PS then does the same thing for BD-J, which takes a while, and I don't need anyway. I can't see any way to turn the BD-J buffer checking off. Is there one that I'm not aware of?

I don't think it can be disabled, but you can use the script instead inside Photoshop (File->Script->Designer - LayerQC). It will save a CSV file. Open it with notepad and at the end you will see the buffer occupancy.
