Got a real weird DVD (posted a thread about it a while ago but it was moved into the newbie section and people might have missed the subject). Progressive DVD (officially released) sourced from an interlaced (damaged) VHS-tape. But there is a really weird ghost/hallo effect on it and I managed to get rid of only ONE of the ghosts with the following script:
Overlay(last, last.ColorYUV(gain_y=-245, cont_u=-245, cont_v=-245), 10, 0, mode="subtract") # remove the middle ghost
ColorYUV(gain_y=10, cont_u=10, cont_v=10) # restore lost brightness and color

The DVD itself is sourced from a old VHS tape that looks horrible. It was "remastered" by a group of guys that didn't do a good job in my opinion. (too much DNR and exposure mistakes)

The bonus features are sourced (my thoughts) from a VHS tape that leaked on the internet some years ago. The original leaked file was interlaced 29 fps. The one they released is progressive 29 fps. (wtf?)

This is my take on the third version. (Noise Reduction, deblocking, deflickering, some minor color corection with gradation curves and removed one of the ghosts)
