View Full Version : DGAVCDecDI glitch with file output from Smart Cutter

So I had been using DGAVCDecDI for a few months now and everything was working for me when I trimmed my files with VideoReDo, but for whatever reason, my registration for VideoReDo is messed up now and it keeps telling me "trial expired" and I can't reset it or enter my serial, so I had to find an alternative that would allow me to trim my videos.

So I decided to try out Smart Cutter since it's frame accurate. It's supposed to keep the video untouched EXCEPT the start and end points of the cuts.

So here's my problem, the output .TS file from Smart Cutter plays perfectly fine in MPC and everything, but when I load it into DGAVCDecDI, at the beginning of the video, it plays a little bit, but then it skips some frames of the video and causes the audio sync to be off since there's no skip in the demuxed audio.

I've also tried this in DGAVCIndex, which doesn't skip frames in the video, but it does give me these annoying glitchy blocks in the video and it's also slower than DGAVCDecDI.

I've attached a sample clip. Can anyone help me? I've really enjoyed using DGAVCDecDI and I'd like to continue using it, but I just need to figure out how to solve this tiny problem.

I've also tried uninstalling VideoReDo, getting rid of its values in my registry, then reinstalling it and re-entering my serial, but it still says "trial expired" :-/

It appears to be an issue with DiAVC decoding, so you would have to talk to DiAVC about it.

It works fine in DGDecNV, so that is an option. You can get a cheap VP5-based card, for example.

Also, you should consult VideoRedo about your issue. They have been responsive to me in the past.

Alright, thank you!
