Can you encode MVC format with x264 encoder or there another encoder for 3D MVC ??

There are no free encoders that I'm aware of. If you're willing to pay, there are options from Mainconcept, Sony, CinemaCraft, and others.

What was the commercial encoder that was derived from x264 which does offer MVC support? I forgot the name but seem to remember Pegasys bought it?
