i recently downloaded tscv 0.84r2 update, and every time i open it i get this errors:
no sh.exe, no jpeg2yuv1.exe, no mpeg2enc-pgh-nosse.exe found.
they are all needed for mpeg2enc.
does enybody now what that is, and where i can find them?
i can encode with tmpg, but if i forget to specify this in the beginning, i have to go thru all the menu creation process, just to find out at the end that i don't have eny file created.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

hi

ensure that you load 0.84 rel1 first

then run 0.84 rel2

it should be ok then

still alot of bugs in it though

enjoy

no, it doesn't do it.
i even tried uninstall rel1 then install it again, still when i try to run the update, it gives me the same errors.
it doesn't work for some reason. i'll keep on using the old one.
thanks anyway.

The files you mentioned should be in the full package of 0.84 rel 1. and should be unpacked in the vcdimager dir of tscv.
The files can be found on HVR's site:
http://www.vcdimager.org/pub/vcdimager/vcdimager-0.7_UNSTABLE/

For TSCV rel. 0.84 you need the 0.7.12 version.

jj, you are right. all the files are in there
what i didn't do in the beginning,is i didn't replaced the tscv.exe with the new one. now i did and no more errors. well, i still have to try it, but i have a good feeling about it.
thanks again.

i was wrong, it doesn't do it.
for some reason, mpeg2enc does not create any file. it seems to encode, i can see the log, but when it finishes, i get this message from tscv saying that it can't find the file specified, and to make sure the path and filename are correct.
something is screwed up and i don't know what it is.
if anybody reads the message and have any idea, would you please let me know?
thanks.

yeah, i guess i'll stick with that too. at least untill i figure out what i did wrong.
i can use 0.84rel1. with that tmpg works. but with rel2, not even tmpg works.
