I'm trying to improve the saturation in a video where everything is dull.
All non-red colors work fine with a straight tweak(sat=1.66).
The thing is, the reds peak really high, while on the whole are still weak.
I don't think I'm looking to do a curve. I've tried playing with YUV curves and it does more damage than good. I've tried tweaking the red gamma, but again it seems to redden everything, but just the reds.
Is there a way to do a more continuous equivalent to this.:
tweak(sat=1.06,starthue=80,endhue=155,maxsat=60,minsat=40)
tweak(sat=1.12,starthue=80,endhue=155,maxsat=39,minsat=20)
tweak(sat=1.25,starthue=80,endhue=155,maxsat=19,minsat=0)
Or more simply, strongly saturate the weakest reds and gradually decrease the sat=# at higher ranges of input saturation.
