Hi,
I have just recently started encoding someone my blurays with Megui for my HTPC. I have just ripped Apollo 13 which took me around 15 hours with the following h.264 settings.
program --preset slower --tune film --crf 20 --output "output" "input"
I know these settings are pretty standard but the output looks great. I more or less want it as close as it can possibly be to the original source but 15 hours is a long time. Is it worth increasing the crf and reducing the encoder to slow as apposed to slower ?
