eac3to can demux specific streams in a given M2TS, if only you know the stream number and type.
About the only way I have found to make it list the streams and their numbers is to use the -demux switch, then abort as soon as all the streams are listed.
Is there a command line parameter which will make eac3to simply list the streams?
(sorry if this is not directly related to Audio Encoding but it seems that most of the inquiries re eac3to come here)

I found the answer:
C:\DUCKY> eac3to bdmv\stream
yields:
1) 00000.mpls, 00009.m2ts, 2:15:11
- Chapters, 16 chapters
- h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
- DTS Master Audio, English, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, Spanish, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, French, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, Japanese, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, French, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, German, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, Italian, multi-channel, 48kHz
- DTS, Spanish, multi-channel, 48kHz
but: C:\DUCKY> eac3to bdmv\stream 1)
yields:
M2TS, 1 video track, 8 audio tracks, 24 subtitle tracks, 2:15:11, 24p /1.001
1: Chapters, 16 chapters
2: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)

9: DTS, Italian, 5.1 channels, 768kbps, 48kHz

11: Subtitle (PGS), English

If you have the m2ts files of unprotected BD at "D:\temp\the movie\BDMV\STREAMS" is enough:
eac3to "D:\temp\the movie\"
and eac3to list all of mpls ordered by duration (the big first) until a minimum duration (I don't remember exactly, maybe 20m.)
