x264 with MP4 output

Hi,

I'n trying to encode a lagarith AVS file to MP4 using zarx264ui. The resulting file wont play. Works with MKV. Any ideas/pointers.

Yes,

1) try a less-outdated ;) GUI for x264, OR...

2) P.M. Zarxrax and ask him to take a look at this thread :)

Thanks for the info.

I've got a beta version of zarx264, which is working with MP4 output. It uses FFMPEG, which as I understand it uses x264lib. What are the pros and cons of using FFMPEG over X264 directly.

Also, on your suggestion of using a more modern UI, what would you suggest?
