bbMPEG intra/non intra quant matrix files

hi,

I read that patched CCE 2.50 did not write custom matrices into mpeg2 file header for correct decoding. So for multiplexing you need manually select those matrix files in bbMPEG. But I don't know how to create them? What is exact layout of *.mat files?
And, is those matrix files needed if I encode with CCE 2.64 SP Levna version.

Look in your BBmpeg-folder for some examples on how they should look. You can export the matrices from the patcher and edit them into the .mat files.

Btw, I didn't notice any difference between BBmpeg-multiplexed files with selected templates and without. I did a hex-compare.

Look into your cce-patcher directory. There your patched .mat-files are written which you should load into bbMPEG.
Only needed for CCE 2.50SP. 2.62/2.64SP can select (and write) different matrices.

Open a .mat in a simple text editor (windows !) and see the pure text layout.
