Hello, when I capture with the resolution 576 x 432 and up some kind of horizontal stripes appear now and then in the picture. It's not the interlacing effect, but like the source was bad quality, but it's not. It is not cpu overload and there are no frame drops. These things can be very annoying e.g. when they appear in peoples faces. I called Hauppauge (my tv card company) and they didn't have a clue what could be the problem. I'd be very glad if someone could help.

Let me guess, VIA chipset? Your problem sounds a bit familiar, George's PCI latency fix helps. http://www.networking.tzo.com/net/software/

No prob. I'm surprised Hauppauge didn't know about this, they're usually on top of things, and this is a pretty common problem.
