I've tried several software but I can't find the right one, so hopefully someone can help me. I currently use solveigmm video splitter because its the one that comes closest to what I need. before I used vdub/vdubmod or avimux but they are to buggy/crashy and inconvenient. The problem with solveigmm video splitter is that it slows down drastically when I set the markers to splitt the video. I am splitting videos to very small parts mostly under 1 minute. I cut every camera change to be able to mix the scenes differently afterwards. With solveigmm video splitter its possible to do that kinda exact but it dosnt always place the marker where I want it, even though I placed it on the exact frame. It places it like 5 to 20 frames wrong, even 1 frame shows in the split, so I always have to readjust the markers. With the slowdown of the software it's torture, something that would take like 1 hour of work becomes 4 hours of work. I'm mostly splitting mkv and sometimes avi, I dont really want to convert to raw, only if there is no other option. Whai I need is a software that uses multicore cpu so it dosn't slow down and can split mkv/avi, best with autosplitting function whenever the camera changes. XD

the best splitter for me atm is AV-Splitter.
Haali Splitter works very well too, but a small issue with Blurays und playlist-files.
Lav is ok, but there are some features missing. (tray-icon-menu and the behavior of subtitles is not good)

Sry with splitter I meant software to edit cut/split a video with audio/video it into different parts. Not audio/video/sub.
Can somebody plz put this back in Capturing and Editing Video?

Hi MystD, It's a pity to hear you experience some problems with the Splitter.
As far as I understood you deal with AVI and encounter GOP accuracy editing feature (The only format the splitter fon't process with frame accuracy).
Did you try our new beta where we intoduce AVI files frame editing as well?
