Hi,
I faced with a problem. I have two video sources and two TV’s. Can anybody advice me which device should I use in order to change source signal between two TVs.

Re-Hi,
you are as general as one can be :)
What type of source ? What type of TV ? Analogue ? Digital ? Source 1 to TV1 or TV2 ?

Darksoul71,
Both my sources have the same HDMI outputs and both these sources should be to 1TV and 2TV also.

Two HDMI splitters and two HDMI switches.
Pretty expensive (in you're not living in the US).

This ! :)
The low cost approach would be four HDMI extension cords and changing the connection with switched of devices every time you need it.

ok, I understood. Every TV should have it's own switcher. It's nice, but what for should I use splitters? and for what devices? TV or second source ( in my case computers)?

It is quite simple:
For every TV (= single HDMI input) you could use an automatic HDMI switcher which would switch to one of out off two HDMI sources.
The splitter would be necessary if you want to feed a single HDMI output to two HDMI inputs. The HDMI splitter replicates / duplicates the HDMI signal of one source to at least two targets.

thanks! It became quite clear. Did I understand correctly? Can I replace two simple switchers to one matrix switcher?

Yes, from reading the description this matrix switch should be what you need.
A 2x2 matrix switch would do fine though ;-)

One must be crazy to spend for a switch enough money to buy another plasma TV.
HDMI cables soaked in snake oil for only 1000$/ft anyone? :)
BTW: for PCs there are much cheaper alternatives if one considers VGA.

Ouch...I didn't see the price...I would stick to 4 HDMI extension cords and the manual approach :)

It's not so much money as you think.
Darksoul71,
what do you mean? How can I use this HDMI cable (https://www.hdwise.com/75-ft.-high-resolution-hdmi-cable-with-built-in-signal-booster-hd75ftcl314.html) in order to switch sources and TV's? I tkink that in my case the better way will be a matrix switch because I'm not going to stop and I want to use more than 2 TV's. That's why I found this one https://www.hdwise.com/hdmi-matrix-switchers-comparison-chart.html May be you can advise me what switch can I use?

kiwi192,
how could I advise you something ? You have to decide for yourself !
As for the HDMI cable: I wouldn't spent too much money. Some month ago I bought a cheapo 15 m HDMI cable to connect my PC to my Sony Bravia TV and the cable worked like a charm. I even watched a few 1080p videos via this cable and did not see any issues !

Darksoul71,
I think your idea is good because of price. It's cheaper to switch cables but it's a problem if there are more than 2 TV's and 2 sources. I think it is not convenient :( Maybe there is another solution?

kiwi192,
in Germany we have a saying: "Wash me but don't make me wet..."
This is essentially what you are looking for....
I am afraid that in your case a matrix switch might be the only solution. In older (analogue) times passive devices for switching video and audio were possible. I am not aware what would happen if you put a passive multiswitch for HDMI between your devices. It could harm both the HDMI outputs and inputs. I would play safe here and try not to fry anything.
There are very cheap splitters at the bay for the output part:

..but I am not shure how well they work....

Omm, how can I use this splitter? How can I switch between my sources with help of this splitter or even these splitters?

This kind of gadgets are nothing else than gadgets. I refuse to think what happens when you split a signal to two different displays :)
I have (but not used) a splitter that allows me to configure how the signal will be sent to each of the 4 outputs.

Ghitulescu,
What kind of splitter do you have? I suppose that a splitter should split the signal but for managing it should be used a switcher. Am I right?

A Geffen, similar to the photo below.

I don't know it's name as it stays put in a box, waiting for the right time to be used.

I found this model EXT-HDMI1.3-142D 1x2 HDMI 1.3 Splitter with Digital Audio (http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Gefen-EXTHDMI1-3142D-2-Ports-External-Video-audio-splitter-/74164267). It's really good, but I'm afraid that this device can't help me. I am inclined to think that It's easy to use the switcher.

kiwi192, your posts so far contain many links to a specific retailer. You're new and don't yet have credible history here, so I can't decide if you're promoting this retailer or just happen to be using it. Since we don't tolerate promotions here, and since I'm giving you the benefit of doubt, if you feel you must post links to products, I'd like to ask you to use another retailer.
If you keep posting links to this retailer, you're risking a ban. Take notice.
Also, no need to get defensive. Just don't keep linking to this retailer and we'll assume everything's just fine.
Thanks.

For me it's important to see that people understand me, that's why I post so many links. This reseller has a very good and easy-to-use website with simple search. I may use another one if you feel yourself bad!
