i just d/l started using pgcedit v9.3 & have used it sucessfully to get rid of opening logos/ads on a couple dvds.
ive run into a problem with the 3rd dvd where the cursor in trace mode is continuously oscillating back & forth between 'pre commands:' and '1 LinkPGCN PGC 10'.
since this version is from 2008 i get the feeling the program is no longer developed. anyone still use it, can answer questions on it? or is there a current program thats replaced it?
1 thing about the above dvd is when played in the computer i get 'wrong region code' msg tho if burned to dvd & played on stand alone player it plays fine tho you have to sit thru 5 msgs/logos b4 you get to the program.
actually the wrong region code only occurs with powerdvd. I just tried it with vlc & it played & went right to the program on both the backup & the original. vlc automatically skips the opening logo stuff. doesn't do that on my stand alone player.
that actually brings up another question, since vlc is already doing what im trying to do, anyone know how its doing it (skip all the intro stuff & go right to the program)?
