I have ripped U571 with smartripper. I have even tried out DVD decrypter and others. No problems with the ripping process. No problems with the encoding to. But the final avi-file doesn't work properly. If you watch the movie, each time the camera changes direction, you have about one second of fluid images. The the images appear claerly for a few seconds; when the camera turns in another direction, it gets fluid again...
How can I fix the problem?

I may be wrong, but it sounds like you are using a noise reduction or blurring filter at a high level. This will blend motion together, hence the "fluidity".
Are you using any filters and which are they?
Also, what resize filter are you using?

Oops, I must be in the wrong place...I thought this was the 'Decryping' forum. ;-)
Please ensure you post in the CORRECT forum. Your posts are more likely to be answered that way.

It has nothing to do with filters. I can't decrypt the DVD; I used all the usual apps like smartripper, DVD decrypter and others. I also tried VobDec to find the keys from the encrypted VOBs, but VobDec didn't find any!
So I can't rip the DVD to HD.
I assume that the DVD is encrypted with a new method, and my question is does anybody know what to do??! Is there a new method I don't know about? Please tell me what app to use to fix the problem.
Thanks.

First you wrote:
No problems with the ripping process. No problems with the encoding too.
Then you wrote:
I can't decrypt the DVD
So you can understand my confusion?
Sorry, but I don't know how to solve your problem.

Ok, so if u cant get the vobs onto the HDD, then it IS a decrypting problem. What error message do you get when you try and read off the vobs in dvd decrypter 3?

I don't have the DVD anymore; I have lent it a Videotheque in France. When I had it, I tried to decrypt it using Smartripper and with Vstrip. These apps have put it on my HDD, but it is still encrypted.
So now I have a copy of the encrypted DVD (U571) on HDD, the same as if I had copied/pasted it...
So I had problems do rip this DVD and I don't know why.
I also want to know if it possible to decrypt the vobs which are on HDD?
