I have a big problem with Burning the Image files. The created CD's won't work on my dvd-player. I know that it supports svcd, because i can play cd's a friend of mine created with dvd2svcd. I already used CDRWIN with the recommended settings. When I try to use Nero, the cue-file won't work and when i try to use the .bin-file, it dosen't work. I use ver. 1.0.6 build 4. Can anybody help me?

can you play the svcd in your dvd-rom? probably not. It is because of a cracked cdrwin (those guys from cdrwin have a lot of humour sence, don't you think?). Try with vcdeasy. Have a look at newbie faq.

If bin/cue will not work for you, try using Nero to burn the mpg files created by DVD2SVCD in Nero's Supervideo template. You won't get chapters - but you might be able to view the created Supervideo on your standalone player.

Hi michis-space,
as Mozart mentioned vcdeasy is very good for burning the *.cue files (and can do a lot more) but if you want to stay with Nero then be sure it is the latest version (5.5.7.2) and you burn the *.cue files using "File/Burn Image..." menu. One thing to mention with it, some burners can't burn the *.cue files correctly when using "Disc-At-Once" method so try "Track-At-Once" with the images if first method fails.
Another easy way is to use the "Daemon-Tools" and mount the*.cue files to their virtual CD-ROM drive. Then you can use your preferred burning program to do a disc-to-disc copy.
