Been using this for awhile and very satisfied. I only create movie-only backups, DVD-5, and sometimes there are multiple audio tracks that show up to be processed. I know I can X them out, but I don't know which are necessary and which may be part of a Director's notes, or whatever. How can I find out which track(s) are redundant?
THanks.

director's comments are usually AC 3/2 streams, while the main movie audio is usually AC 3/6 (surround)

Thanks for the reply, Ch3vr0n. Most of my DVDs are pretty old, I'm just backing them up as the disks are getting beat up. What I'm trying to say in a long winded post is that even the dialog is AC3 2 channel in many of them. For example I am trying to backup "Elvis" (Kurt Russel) and there are two tracks shown in the dialog box, both 2 ch. Its not a big deal, and I have just been backing the others up with the audio. Just wondering if there is an easy way to detect the redundant track.

Most of the time the Director's Comments audio with have a "(DC)" showing after it in the streams list. But that only works if they are flagged as "Directors Comments" in the original.

Hi srfdude,
personally I prefer to trace every DVD with PGCEdit before I process them with DVDRebuilder. When you play back the main movie you'll see a drop-down-list with all language tracks. you can change it during playback. That way you can identify it very easy because they the tracks/streams are shown in the same order than in DVDRebuilder.
