BlackMagic MOV -> BlackMagic AVI?

Got an uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 1280x720 MOV from my BlackMagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle, and I want to open it in VirtualDub.

Is there a simple way to do the remux so I can get a nice AVI?

I've had some success using an application called MPEG_Streamclip_1.2 (http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html) to re-mux .MOV contained files to .AVI contained files.

You open your .MOV file in MPEG Streamclip. Then go to 'File' then 'Save As...'. Then visit 'Save as type:' and select 'AVI (*avi)' file and save.

With any luck, VirtualDub will be able to open the .AVI contained file... Sadly it does not always work though :(

Thanks for the detailed instructions. You would think they are plain and obvious, but I initially chose "Export to AVI" and was confused by the litany of compression options when I just wanted an AVI with the same AV data in it.
