I resized a movie to 1128/480 and did a first pass. I get a I/O error 103 when I try to open it. What does it mean and can I fix it?

Hi-I'm seeing it on a badly made DVD I'm working with as well-first time seeing this.

The problem was simple...it was a bad 1rst pass(duh). A little research on my part would have saved some embarrassment. After another first pass, it was fine.

Hey-Glad that solved the problem for you. In my case I ran the first pass twice with the same result. It was a dual layered DVD, and the problem seemed to be occurring at the layer change. My solution was to go back and make two .d2vs and start the second one at the layer change. I encoded them separately and joined the resulting .avis later.
