This happens mainly with some ASS anime subtitle files, encoded in 4x3 format and from DVD source (640x480).
In windowed mode they appear normally in 4x3 format.
when I enter full screen mode I keep the original aspect ratio so I have two black vertical borders on each side.
But the subtitles instead of appearing inside the picture, they often stretch even extending inside the black border.
With directvobsub on they appear in the correct analogy.
But by using MPC and Potplayer internal subtitles I get this problem.
Is there any solution to this?
Mainly because the internal subtitles have much better quality in videos encoded in non-HD resolution. xy-vobsub filter doesnt support double subtitle resolution like the original version.
