View Full Version : Is editing H264 streams without re-encoding possible?

I'm looking for a utility that can do this. Similar to what TMPGenc (the company) offered with their MPEG editing / encoding suites in the past.. I think they called it "Smart Rendering". Basically it let you make cuts and joins with only minimal re-encoding on break-points if necesarry while the rest of the stream remained untouched.

Basically I need to edit some H264 streams (deleting and duplicating certain frames) and I'd rather not have to re-encode them from the source if possible, due to the time involved.
