Hi,

I was searching for how to packetize the transformed and coded data into macroblock packet. For example I predicted a macroblock, transformed it and passed it through the entropy encoder. Now the question is how to convert the coded bit stream into MB packet or what is the packet format of H.264 macroblock packet?

Any related links/info will be highly appreciated

Thanks

What do you mean by a "macroblock packet"? I don't know of any such thing from the AVC specification.

I didn't have the AVC standard. Is it free? I am following a book written by Ian Richardson "The H.264 AVC standard". What I understand is that we have a macroblock layer which have a
1. Type Field
2. a prediction filed
3. coded block pattern
4. Qp and
5. residual

I just need to gain some more details about these fields and some examples as I am not satisfied by the explanation the book have
