Intel HD Graphics 2000 1080p23,976 not possible?

I own the Intel HD Graphics 2000 and I m using the HDMI output of my AsRock m-itx motherboard that is connected to my display device that supports 1080p@23,976. The problem is that the 23p setting of the Intel HD Graphics software tool (latest version) outputs at 23,972 and not at 23,976. This means a dropped frame every 4 minutes and that dropped frame is noticable every four minutes. Is it not possible with the Intel HD Graphics 2000 to output 1080p23,976? I already looked at the custom resolutions setting but it looks like I cannot enter 23,976; I cannot fill in decimals.

I have a very good reason why I m bothered with this. I need bitstreaming for a special purpose which is D-Box.

So ReClock is no option for me. Just looking for a solution to get 23,976 instead of 23,972

ReClock can re-encode to AC3 after doing its thing.

Does not work. My dbox decoder needs the unaltered spdif signal

It is not a wish, I demand it of AMD etc otherwise I will not buy their crap :P You understand my point, to remain silent solves nothing. Unbelievably no one support 23.976

Until that happens(never), I continue to use Reclock :p

To the original poster, like nevcairiel said, nothing much you can do. If you don't want dropped video frames, use Reclock with bitstream and it'll drop audio packets instead. If you don't want dropped audio packets, then you are stuck with dropping video frames.

Get a Nvidia. I've created a custom resolution on my GTS 450 with framerate at 23.975, no dropped frames for 2hrs+. :)

Did you only changed the refresh rate in the custom resolution settings? I can remember from the GTX560ti that I owned that I only had to change the custom resolution refresh rate to 23,978 which resulted in 1-3 dropped frames during a 2 hour movie.
