Hi all,
I need your help with something...
What I want to do is this.
I have in my chapter selection page lets say, 5 thumbnails.
I want each time a user selects one of those 5 (not activate, just select) to have a larger image of that chapter to a specific place and each time the user selects a different that larger image changes.
Something like the two images here:
Img1 (http://imageshack.us/a/img33/2202/test1wb.jpg)
Img2 (http://imageshack.us/a/img694/3945/test2fo.jpg)
Does that have to do with presentation graphics?
I have never done it before, could you point out how to do it?
And also, how do I have to create the photoshop file to achieve that?
Thank you!

There are at least 2 ways to implement this.
One way is to create one page for every chapter. Based on your example, you need to do for example 5 pages. Every page has only one button (the one selected) and two auto-actioned button to go to previous/next page/thumbnail. Every page also change the big image. This can be a long photoshop process if you have lots of chapters.
Another way (which require less time in photoshop but more time in Scenarist) is to have (always based on your example) the big image as a 5 buttons on the same BOG with only normal state. When you navigate the small buttons, you also enable one of the 5 buttons in the BOG. This require only one page, but a bit more complex programming on Scenarist side.

Thanks mp3dom!
So, nothing to do with presentation graphics, right?
Both ways seems fine!
I'll try them both.
Thanks again!

Hi,
Well, the first way makes my buffer overflow.
Not sure why. I have in total 16pages. (12Chaps, 1 Settings, 1 Main, 1 MainInEffect and 1 0Page for codes).
Think they are too many? It overflows for 3MBs.
I will try now the second way.
Any tricks for Scenarist I should be careful?
Thanks.

I had to do this on a few of the earlier Questar nature titles that are out there... I used the second technique, there's a tech base article I believe that explains it on Sonic/Rovi's database, if that's still online...
But it works well... I don't have my projects with me, but I can look at them on Monday if you are still having problems with this.

Thanks rik!
do you happen to know how I should search it on Rovi's database?
Remember the name of the pdf?
Can't find it...
